Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Do you board all dog breeds and sizes?

No matter the size and breed of your dog, we know that every animal companion has its own personality. That said, whether your  French bulldog is the clown of the house, or your champion Border collie? Is it the Chihuaha's spunk or your fearless Boxer? With your first visit to Mollyetmoi, we always assess your dog's temperament together, prior to   doggy daycare  or long term boarding with his/her new friends.

This is my first time leaving my dog companion with someone new. How will I know they will be comfortable and well cared for?

Not only do we care about your pet, we also prioritize your comfort in knowing that all is well. You can follow us on Instagram where updates and pictures are posted daily. If preferred, updates can be sent directly to your personal cell phone . We are open to any suggestions you might have while away.

Can I visit the home prior to boarding at MollyetMoi?

Yes, absolutely! we encourage a meet and greet prior to daycare or long term boarding. This allows you to see the environment in which your companion will be boarding, as well as to evaluate your pets level of reactivity while around other dogs as well as unknown "humans"

My female dog is in heat. Will you still allow us to board her?

When a female dog is in heat she produces a scent that is appealing to male dogs. Often a male dog will urinate and bark and can behave badly in social play. For these reasons, we ask that you make other arrangements for your dog until her heat cycle has finished. We can only board longterm if your companion has either been spayed or neutered.

Are there any specific requirements that I should know about?

Yes, for all of the dogs' safety, your companion must have his required vaccines up to date.

*DAPP stands for Distemper, Adenovirus, Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus.

*Given at least 24 hours prior to check-in; renewed every 1 to 3 years.

*Rabies - Given at least 24 hours prior to check-in; renewed every 1 to 3

*Bordetella -If this is the dog's first bordetella vaccination, it must be given 2 weeks prior to boarding.

What is the difference between boarding kennels and private boarding?

Commercial boarding kennels essentially are large facilities that can house a large number of pets at the same time. The primary enclosure and activity area may be combined into one space for each dog, or may be divided into sections depending on function.

Private boarding , specifically here at Mollyetmoi, we limit our pet care between 5-6 dogs (depending on size) at all times. This allows for more specific one on one care, respecting each pets family home routine, as well as exercise level. There are no crates used unless used and provided by the pet parent.
